Delete your account
DRAFT — NOT YET BINDING. CozDate is operated by
[LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS],
company number [COMPANY NUMBER]. These placeholders must be
replaced, and this text reviewed by a qualified lawyer, before CozDate is
offered to the public.
In the app
Open the menu and go to Settings → Danger Zone → Delete account. Type DELETE to confirm. Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.
If you cannot open the app
Email support@cozdate.com from the address your account uses, with the subject Delete my account. We confirm that the request comes from the account holder and complete the deletion within 30 days, and tell you when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, bio, prompts, interests, preferences and location;
- your photos, including the stored image files;
- your Blind Messages, Blind Voice recordings (including the audio files), replies and icebreaker answers;
- your Video Choice posts;
- your matches, chats and their translations, likes, swipes and blocks;
- your call history and login sessions — you are signed out everywhere.
Deletion happens all at once: if something goes wrong, nothing is deleted and the app tells you, so you can try again or write to us.
What is kept, and why
These records no longer contain your name, profile or messages.
- Payments, coins, subscriptions and gifts — accounting law requires us to keep them for [RETENTION PERIOD].
- Reports made about the account and moderation records — their category and outcome, so safety decisions stay reviewable.
Unused coins are lost. Cancel any subscription in your App Store or Google Play account; deleting CozDate does not cancel it.
